We stayed at Old Market’s Bock Suite and we shopped all over their incredible showroom of antiques and now we’ve made it to the other feature that makes Mr and Mrs Hartong’s landmark such a special place here in Northwest Iowa. There’s a lot more to love like fresh baked goods, staying right on Main Street, and walking distance to some unique Paullina experiences, and those one of a kind sandwiches. The Old Market just kept it coming all weekend long!

They have creativity, and one thing that I love, Bleu Cheese and a lot of it! It’s not on all their sandwiches, but it finds its rich, and incredible robust flavor on all the ones we wanted.

Freshly toasted bread, ham, banana peppers, sliced cheese, and some of that bleu cheese I think I mentioned earlier. You’ll want to see their menu for yourself like their Bleu Moo, Prairie Chicken, Pork’n Berry, Purple Cow and so on and so on. Lose yourself in the antiques, lounge in the suite, wake up to breakfast and do not leave until you have a Purple Pig….Or Cow. Jut get to Paullina and make this experience happen!
