We all know that Tuesdays were made for tacos and we all like the ring of that. This is our second trip to Mexico Lindo Grill & Cantina and our second article about this busy restaurant. They found themselves in our 2016 Taco Tour and now they find themselves in our 2017 Best Between Bread Search! Move over tacos because tortas are taking over for awhile. But that’s not all they have… hope you love queso!
We ordered burritos, chimichangas, and nachos… all topped with that velvety white cheese sauce that no one can resist. The only thing is I wanted more. And one way to get more is to go dipping. Bring in the West Branch contender that could bring home a sandwich championship to Cedar County this December….
Bring on the Mexican sandwich known as the torta and all that beautiful queso! The traditional soft bread is toasted, topped with sour cream, and loaded with plenty of fresh tomatoes, onion, cilantro, avocado, pickled carrots, jalapenos, and, most importantly, slow cooked pork carnitas. This sandwich had one rich bite after another and can’t be missed during any trip to West Branch. And don’t stop at anything until you find the bottom of that queso bowl.
