This is an Iowa staple for folks that have never even set foot in the town of Humboldt. Football games, movie nights, late night at the tavern and on the shopping list at the grocery store. Pasquale’s is some of the best frozen pizza anyone has ever had and that’s what they want to hear. What they also want to hear is how much you love their pizza from right out of their huge ovens, made fresh to order. Pizza and a little something that made it into The Iowa Gallivant’s Best Between search. Who wants pie first!?!

The pizzas we ordered were absolutely loaded! A veggie pizza with extra olives, your traditional cheese pizza, pepperoni with sausage and bacon two times. Crispy bacon with its friend from Canada and their bacon. The rich cheese, hearty toppings and fresh veggies would have been enough for the day but we had a sandwich to order. And we were glad we did….

Pasquale’s Italian sausage on a fresh roll with peppers, onions, rich and zesty tomato sauce and all that melted mozzarella cheeeeeeeeseeeeeeee. We went a lot of places during our NW-IA road trip and Pasquale’s gave us an instant contender for the best sandwich in Iowa. We’ll see if Humboldt wins in December!
