The greatest sandwich that has ever been created in America might be the hamburger. We’ve mastered it over and over again and still we crave more and more with every passing year. I’m a sucker for the classics that are cooked perfectly with all the traditional garnish and condiments. I’m also a huge softy when it comes to the eccentric burgers pushing anyone outside their comfort zone. That’s why I went to to Weasy’s to get a little on the wild side. Hold me back!
I would be doing a great dishonor to Weasy’s if I didn’t bring up their other great selections before getting to the Best Between Bread contender. They have some of the best breaded pork tenderloins in town and the wraps are jam packed with delicious ingredients. One spicy taco wrap and a very refreshing chicken salad wrap down and never getting up. These were all delicious but it’s not what made it to our list.
When was the last time you had a Weaser Pleaser? Never?!? Well, get up to Spencer! This award winning burger of ground beef, sausage, pepper jack cheese and bacon is smothered in creamy peanut butter and served on grilled Texas toast and is weasy-licious! This burger has been luring folks to Spencer and tempting the locals for years. The Iowa Gallivant has experienced Spencer and this remarkable sandwich so it’s time you do the same. Something tells me that a Weaser Pleaser would go well with a trip to one of the world’s biggest and greatest county fairs. Like the one called the Clay County Fair….in Spencer! Time to get your peanut butter game face on…..
