Weeeeeeeeee’re back, Fort Madison! And one of our favorite restaurants figured out a way to lure us back in. We had such a great experience with our first trip to the Atlas Steak & Smokehouse, we had to come back in. This time to capture one of Chef Scott’s off the menu specials. Korean BBQ Tacos made with local Wagyu Beef. It’s farm to fork taco time!
Local beers, local top quality beef, and made by a local chef from Fort Madison. That’s a perfect cocktail for a great restaurant if you ask Team Goodvin. The Wagyu beef was naturally tender and juicy with just the right amount of Korean flavors. Fresh cilantro, chopped onion, and a creamy-spicy sauce gave these tacos some edge. The great part about stopping in for tacos is all the other fantastic food and new experiences we had. That’s why we came here to film our first episode of The Iowa Gallivant! Stay tuned for another great blog about Fort Madison with an exciting video to kickoff our new show! Thank you, Fort Madison!
