Our 100th Blog Post!

The heatwave hit Iowa but it didn’t knock Team Goodvin down! When the index soars to over 100 degrees, we tend to find some ways to stay cool. Sure, there’s tons of aquatic opportunities out there. Waterparks, lakes, beaches, splash pads, pools. There’s also more ways to beat the heat, stay active, and get some sweet sticky socks all at the same time. We take on Sky Zone Trampoline Park!

There was a constant blur at Sky Zone. Dozens of kids and grown-ups flipping around all day. Dodge ball, slam dunk competition, and some amazing acrobatic veterans of the trampoline park literally flipping out!
Sometimes father and son must be on opposite side. The dodge ball arena was a place figure out who has supremacy. Charlie has a wicked heater but I let his team win. Eleven times in row. Cuz I’m a nice guy. Yea. I want to play in the giant pool of foam now.
We had fun and managed to stay active and get one heck of a Sky Zone workout. Folks from all over Eastern Iowa had the same idea on this day. We met families from the Iowa City area, the Quad Cities, and Waterloo and joined some seasoned Cedar Rapids Sky Zone regulars in some jump around activities. We look for unique ways to enjoy metro areas and we found one in CR with Sky Zone. And I didn’t even rip my pants!
