There will never be another town like Primghar. That’s because there isn’t another city in the world that shares the same name. It’s quite possible that Primghar is Iowa’s most famous acronym as well. Each letter in Primghar represents the first letter in all the last names of this city’s citizens who platted the town in the 1800s. It’s that easy, folks! The O’Brien County seat knows how to make history and the future is looking very tasty I might add. Plus, you don’t have to wait until the summer to enjoy their local country club as well. It was an amazing feeling I had when arriving back to O’Brien County. There’s something that truly brings me into this area in a wonderful way with a positive energy I feel each time I visit. The natural wonders mixed with the ancient and rural scenery with all the small towns welcoming us in makes for a more than memorable getaway every time. Now, we can add a juicy steak from Primghar to revisit….for Just One More!
