The little town of Doon has been home to a steakhouse for many years. Burns’ Grill is charbroiling up some great meals in NW-Iowa and now we’re here to show travelers what the locals love here! 222 Main Street

Check the spelling sci-fi fans! There’s another legendary Doon and their local steakhouse is creating its own legion of fans. Burns’ Grill has plates of juicy thick-cut steaks and other fantastic options jumping off the menu and all that includes a lively bar with very refreshing cocktails. Let’s start talking about some of those meaty memories we have in Lyon County and Doon, Iowa!

First course gets the beefy good times rolling at Burns’ Grill! Beef and vegetable soup paired with a fresh salad. Bring it on, Doon!
Tender steak tips were one of the many delicious themes in the inaugural Western Iowa T-Bone Trail. Burns’ had these juicy nuggets of beef showing up to our table and the aroma coming off them caused some mouthwatering excitement!
The headliner of this awesome meal at Burns’ Grill was their beautiful Ribeye. Charbroiled with precision that makes for an excellent presentation. Very flavorful and my knife went through this steak with gentle ease. Always something you want to experience when you’re going out for steak night!
I’ll never get tired of this option! Western Iowa is hash browns country and Burns’ Grill crisps up some of their own in incredible fashion!
And there’s one of those refreshing cocktails I was talking about. Burns’ legendary Bloody Mary served in a tall frosty mug!

The restaurant was packed and their entertaining bar was serving up drinks in a rapid fire display as the tables and barstools filled up with hungry and thirsty customers. The small town eateries of this region amazed us in every county and folks who call Doon and Lyon County home are lucky to have this steakhouse haven.
