IMG_7083
Meet the family that started the history of this beautiful house. The Rosberg House B&B was the center of our trip to Lindsborg and it’s ready to be yours! 103 East State Street 785-250-0508

*We had the pleasure of heading back to Kansas and seeing the town of Lindsborg for the first time. Our stay at the Rosberg House was complimentary and the views expressed are always of our own. Let’s gallivant this bed and breakfast!

Lindsborg, KS: McPherson County

To me there is nothing better than parking your car and not seeing it move an inch while you’re relaxing in a beautiful setting. That’s exactly what we did in Lindsborg, Kansas, thanks to the beautiful Rosberg House. Just steps from Main Street and so much that Little Sweden has to offer. Or spend every moment of your time in this town enjoying history and beautiful accommodations inside and out of the Rosberg House Bed and Breakfast.

Beauty From the First Moment On

Imagine yourself pulling up to this colorful B&B and its amazing landscaping.

Sabrina is the owner of the Rosberg House and she would totally understand if you walked the grounds of her proud B&B before seeing the inside. This was one of the most inviting exteriors we’ve ever experienced on The Iowa Gallivant and you’ll want to soak up as much of it as you can while you’re staying here.

Even the folks that aren’t staying at the Rosberg House enjoy their walks past the beautiful rows of flowers that Sabrina takes care of season after season.

The Rosberg’s refreshing pool received many laps from Team Goodvin.

The imagination starts churning when you see the Rosberg House for the first time. The long history can be told by Sabrina and she’s very proud of the restorations and updates they’ve made to the entire property. Starting as a family’s home in the 1800s, then a frat-house for students attending nearby Bethany College, tavern, pizza joint, and now this exquisite B&B. How’s that for local history!

Relax and Kickback

The parlors of the B&B world are always one of the most anticipated rooms to see when checking in. The Rosberg House knows this and displays a classy and comfortable one of their own that you’ll enjoy experiencing the moment you enter from the front door.

Comfortable mattresses with very nice bedding to keep you second guessing when it is time to get up. You may not be deliberating for long when you start getting a whiff of hot breakfast and fresh coffee brewing.

That “stay inside the Rosberg all day” idea just gained a little momentum.

There is nothing better than checking into a place that makes you feel like you can melt right into the actual positive energy it exudes. We stayed in the beautiful top floor Heritage Room that came with a bed and a couch with a foldout inside. We enjoyed the flat screen TV, private bathroom, and view of the Lindsborg neighborhood from the nearby deck. The pool has easy access with a long spiral staircase winding up and down the back of the Rosberg. Sabrina keeps every room individually decorated and unique and very clean during the entire time you’re here. The fresh look of your room is even more welcoming after you put a few miles on foot shopping, restaurant hopping, and sightseeing on Main Street.

Breakfast Time

Omelets are always better with a French toast sidekick!

The sparkling China seems to draw you into the dining area for your breakfast every morning.

You’re staying in the middle of Little Sweden so you’ll be treated with one of the Scandinavian classics. Swedish pancakes are a must have when you’re in Lindsborg.

Hot breakfast getting prepared flows through the bottom floor of the Rosberg House and meets you at the bottom of the main staircase. If you ask us, Sabrina’s cooking was the headliner here at the Rosberg House. She creates an atmosphere that feels like you can only get here in Lindsborg and we couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality. Our road trips take us to many amazing places and we can add this B&B to that list. Where is the Autumn taking you? Make this trip happen and find yourself in a community full of heritage and a lot of Swedish charm you’re going to love.
