Can you find a happier person in Waterloo receiving a huge plate of traditional Irish breakfast? Good luck on that! Jameson’s is right in Downtown Waterloo and is one of the most exciting venues at Iowa Irish Fest!

It’s finally here! An annual weekend of one of the biggest festivals of everything Irish is just days away! August 3rd-5th are the dates for this year’s Iowa Irish Fest and it brings to Waterloo a whole list of incredible fun for the whole family and the grownup getaway you’ve been needing. Seven stages with nonstop music and dancing, street vendors selling premium memorabilia and clothing, workshops, waves of cold beverages and something that holds a special place in my gallivanting heart. It made it to this year’s ongoing project, a little adventure called Iowa’s Wurst Road Trip!

You want to take your sausage eating game to next the next level? Then get your three day passes for Iowa Irish Fest and settle into your seat at Jameson’s Public House for that tradition Irish breakfast piled high on the left. Party your day away and wonder back in for another Irish beauty known as Bangers and Mash! Topped with rich gravy and sided with green peas, cuz Mamma said so, soda bread and Irish style butter. That’s how one gets on Iowa’s Wurst Road Trip! Jameson’s has great fare, but it’s not the only style of food you can dive into during this exciting festival. Click in the video below to get a sample of what this celebration is all about when it comes to feeding the festival-goers all weekend long!

Have you got your tickets yet? Click here for Iowa Irish Fest website to see all the info on this huge festival that only comes once a year. And the weather this weekend is going to be beautiful! See you there and revel on!
