What can you pack into 48 hours? If you’ve been keeping up with The Iowa Gallivant, you’ll see that Team Goodvin can cover a lot of ground on this crazy travel blog. Junction Grill & Bar has mastered something of their own that takes over two days to complete. You’ll want to see this. Better yet, taste it. But there’s a few more items we need to show you before we get to 48 hour perfection.

Start with some apps and Junction’s world of sauces and seasonings. The Poppers Wontons are loaded with a creamy jalapeno filling and served with two beautiful dipping sauces like the Sriracha ranch that I’m taking on. They also have many more varieties for your dipping pleasure, so if you’re a condiment hoarder like me, you’re going to love this place. And now let’s see what made our trip to Wilton a legendary one.

The JCT Reuben has made the list for our Best Between Bread search and it’s sloooooow roasted corned beef could take home a championship in December. That 48 hour wait is worth every succulent second for this corned beef, sauerkraut, 1000 island dressing, real Wisconsin Swiss cheese and toasted rye. This is the Junction’s most precious item on the menu and we can see why. We’ll see if Wilton has winner-winner, Reuben-dinner in just few short months.
