2 MIT Burgers grinds their own beef produced from nearby Wadena, IA, cuts their own perfectly cooked onions, and makes a homemade mustard sauce that makes the trip to Elkader worth it all in itself. We love the use of local ingredients and it doesn’t just stop with beef.
The soft and delicious buns at 2 MIT Burgers are made fresh just a block away at Pedretti’s Bakery and you can’t imagine this cheeseburger without them. Our Best Between Bread search will crown a champion in December and Clayton County has showed us that they very much belong in this statewide sandwich master tour.
