I realized during our last visit to Cresco how much I needed a “Vinnie” in my life. A Vinnie that answers my texts at 2 A.M. or picks me up at the airport on a weekend. A Vinnie that shows me how to tackle long division and never brings up all the tools I’ve borrowed and haven’t returned in social situations. Especially after I make fun of said tools. That’s a Vinnie we could all get along with. However, Cresco has a big mouth in town and I found it right away.
Appetizer first! Because we don’t order them after the meal. Loaded Criss Cuts with cheddar cheese, bacon, sour cream, and chives. Not pictured is the Diet Coke I ordered. And by Diet Coke I mean a giant frosty mug craft beer. These were just the beginning….
The Big Mouth Vinnie Burger! 2 1/3 pound patties, melted American and Swiss cheeses, 4 strips of bacon, lettuce, tomato, 6 onion rings, BBQ sauce, and ranch dressing! Vinnie has spoken! See where that big mouth part comes in handy. This huge burger is what welcomed us to Cresco and what a way to break the ice! We’re crowning a champion in December, but this was without a doubt the biggest of the Best Between Bread thus far. Thanks for the good times, Vinnie!
