When Italian hunger strikes, you must never put it off. Even if you’re not Italian. Which I am not. That being said Dubuque Dawgs has one of Iowa’s best mouthfuls of what Chicago calls its own. However, we Iowans are partial to this combination and Illinois isn’t big enough to keep this completely on their side. The Iowa Gallivant has a new best friend and it’s in historic Downtown Dubuque!
Tender Italian beef meets a juicy Italian sausage on a fresh bun loaded with hot peppers and met with an incredibly sloppy grin from me. The best part is that you can get this delicious combo for lunch and/or 2am on the weekends. That is a lot of opportunities to scarf. And you can see just how to do that below…
Did I mention that it’s huge? Well, it’s huge. So get down to Dubuque Dawgs on your lunch break, getting off work, during an important investment proposal, in between bar hopping, and when you have those third trimester cravings and I don’t mean when you’re in grad school. But that works too. We’ll see if Dubuque’s contender can win our Best Between Bread award in December!
