There is no other stretch along its banks that captures the Mississippi experience better than between the two Iowa towns of New Albin and Keokuk.

Discovering amazing history and architecture in Keokuk with a stay at the beautiful bed and breakfast known as the Grand Anne. A Mother’s Day trip to Balltown, home to Breitbach’s Country Dining-Iowa’s oldest restaurant.
We’ve made trips to Dubuque‘s National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium,stayed at on of Al Capone’s old haunts, and hiked the Mines of Spain.
Our travels along the Big Muddy included several trips to the Quad Cities area communities of Davenport, LeClaire, and Bettendorf. Exploring the great outdoors in Louisa County and Muscatine. Let’s not forget about some of the best Steaks, biscuits & gravy, tacos, and quite possibly one of the biggest fish sandwiches we’ve ever seen.
